Physical and mental illnesses, disorders and injuries are diagnosed and treated as well as the prescription of medication and treatment to promote or restore good health- taking account of physical, emotional and social factors. All common medical conditions are treated and patients are referred to hospitals and other medical services for urgent or specialist treatment.
